One beautiful Denmark morning, as I sat on my balcony sipping my coffee, there was a soft breeze carrying an epiphany through the air. For an unknown reason, I was compelled to bring my jewelry box out to the table. As I went through it piece by piece, I realized a common theme amongst them. Each one represented a major accomplishment in my life – a graduation, a new job, a pay raise, excellent performance on a challenging project. I was suddenly filled with emotion looking at this incredible display of my life’s work. In that moment, the epiphany hit me. For years, I had wanted to find a way to empower and inspire other women. And this experience had revealed to me exactly how to do that. I launched Zafeer to provide all the ladies of the world with a way to mark and celebrate their achievements by giving new meaning to their jewelry box.
